The Finance Committee needs members with extensive backgrounds in business administration, operations and/or financial management. The committee advises the Board of Directors on matters of budgeting and planning, monthly statements and forecasts and policy and procedure in this area. Reviews and recommends approval of all AFE’s “Authority for Expenditures”. Additionally it reviews annual operating and capital budgets for compliance with association policy. The committee consists of six members, meeting monthly or as needed.
